We have an extensive range of hand-picked wines in the range of £4-£325, from distinctive, individual producers, with bottles open to try daily. The majority of our wines come from small, family-owned producers worldwide, and are chosen to represent both their origins and the passion of the people making them.  As a natural extension to this, we expect our wines to be produced with respect to the environment in which they are made; thus without actively sourcing them, we tend to find an increasing proportion of our wines are organic, biodynamic, "lutte raisonnée", or ethically traded.  We're not raging eco-warriors, far from it; our main concern is to get good wine in the glass. Indeed, wine is such a natural product (when made well) that "organic" status can be something of a red herring anyway.  However, in our experience good wines seem to be made through minimal interventions in the growing and winemaking process at just the right times.  It just happens that this method of minimal intervention often makes it easier to care for the environment simultaneously. It is also used by producers looking to work in partnership with their land rather than to impose their will upon it.

• “Case Club” – our monthly case delivery service. Each customer is treated individually; their preferences are noted and each case is prepared separately, with its own wine notes and food recommendations. No two cases we send out are the same, and everyone in the club gets a 12% case discount.  For more information click here.

• Our “bottle library” service – every customer’s purchases are recorded if they choose, removing the need for them to remember what they purchased! Many customers find this an invaluable aid to remembering and thus learning about their wine drinking habits.

• We have a 10% discount on any mixed case ordered online or purchased in the shop.

• Cellar management advice.  We will create and maintain a long term wine purchase and investment plan for you, to ensure the big days in your life are well catered for as much as the everyday purchases!  This includes a comprenhesive Wedding Service.
