One of the best known and most loved of all prestige cuvées. Dom Pérignon was the monk who invented the process of blending across regions (within Champagne) and vintages to come up with a reliably excellent wine, and doing so made the foundations upon which champagne is built. This fabulous wine wears the name well ; it is full and rich, with pear fruit and masses of creamy width leading to very fine, integrated acidity and a finish that lasts and lasts. The grape blend is 50% each of pinot noir and chardonnay, providing a unique balance of power and elegance.
